Grace Tang is an assurance partner who has been based in Beijing since 1998. Grace began her career with PwC in Silicon Valley before she was seconded to Hong Kong in 1994. She has served on the Board of Partners of the PwC China, Hong Kong, Taiwan and Singapore firms. She is the leader of the Industrial Products sector and also leads the multinational client practice.
Grace assists companies with assurance, accounting, risk management, and mergers and acquisitions. She has participated in many successful listings in Hong Kong and the United States. She is the quality review partner of several U.S. listed companies.
Her major SEC clients have included United Technologies, IBM, Sony, MPAA, Viacom, Warner Bro., Paramount, Qualcomm, The Interpublic Group, Nokia, Universal Studio, Cummins, Sina, NetEase, Dang Dang, Shanda, Xiao Mi, China Automotive System, Spreadtrum, RDA, eHai and Autohome. She has also served many domestic Chinese companies listed in Hong Kong, including Esprit and Gulf Security. Grace is active in the American Chamber of Commerce in China.
Grace won the PwC Global Industrial Products Client Experience Award that recognizes and rewards those partners who provide exceptional client experiences. She is also the lifetime achiever award winner of IKang. Recently, she is the recipient of the Peking University Corporate Leaders Scholarship.
She was invited by Peking University to be an examiner for the undergraduate autonomous enrolment program of Guanghua School of Management, and is an instructor of the Masters of Business Administration and Master of Professional Accounting degree programs at the Peking University. Grace also joined the PwC Global Market Leader’s brainstorming committee to develop the training agenda for the Global Relationship Partner program.
Grace is a US certified public accountant, a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, and a fellow of the Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
She is frequently quoted in leading media on woman’s leadership and her experiences as a breast cancer survivor. She is a frequent public speaker, a sponsor of cancer related charities, and is a leading proponent of cancer prevention awareness.
