Yvonne Tsanos (AFNI) is a Maritime Professional with over 25 years experience in the Maritime industry. She is a passionate proactive professional having the ability to identify and overcome challenges and a highly driven individual advocating the Cyprus Shipping industry and Cyprus as a business and investment centre of excellence with tremendously high quality and safe lifestyle. She was formerly Administrative Director and a General Manager of Shipowning companies based in Cyprus and currently holds the post of WISTA Cyprus Secretary General, a member of the Board of the Maritime Institute of Eastern Mediterranean, Vice Chairwoman of the Nautical Institute Cyprus. She was also the former Vice Chairwoman of the PR Committee for the Cyprus Shipping Chamber, Member of the Board and Secretary General of the Cyprus Marine Club and overall winner of the Cyprus Business Woman of the Year 2017.

Yvonne supports numerous charitable organisations and was awarded for her support to “Love the Children” and whenever possible supports PASYKAF and the Cyprus Anti Cancer Society. She has been invited often to speak and moderate at numerous shipping and non-shipping related conferences, and events and invited for interviews locally and on an international level.
