Sandra Bauknecht is a digital entrepreneur, luxury specialist, editor, and the founder of the high end fashion & lifestyle blog Sandra’s Closet. Launching her online magazine www.sandrascloset.com back in 2009, made her an early adopter and a true pioneer in the fashion industry. Sandra’s Closet covers all aspects of luxury with a focus on fashion, including beauty, art and travel.
Furthermore, she creates concepts and extraordinary event packages for private banking clients, luxury brands and 5 star hotels. Those money-can’t-buy experiences are specially designed for an ultra-high net worth audience. She counts UBS, Gucci, Prada, as well as The Oetker Collection among her clients.
In 2014, Sandra Bauknecht launched L’Officiel magazine in Switzerland. She was a member of the board of directors and held the position as editor-in-chief until 2016. Beforehand, she worked for various renowned magazines in Switzerland and Germany, such as Weltwoche, SI Style Magazine and Marie Claire.
Her passion for fashion is obvious and translates into one of the most comprehensive collections, carefully gathered since 1990 – Sandra’s Closet. Her style has not gone unnoticed by major brands. In 2011, she was the ambassador for Roger Dubuis as well as the advertising face for Closed and launched a limited edition capsule collection in collaboration with the German brand in 2012. In the same year, Montblanc created a Bespoke Limited Edition Ink „Sandra Berry“ for her. Something that has never been done before.
From 2013 to 2015, she was the ambassador for Piaget, followed by a close collaboration with IWC Schaffhausen. In 2014, she was named among the most influential people in the German fashion industry and appeared in the coffee table book “Fashion Germany” (Prestel). Since 2016, she has become the digital influencer for Estée Lauder Companies in Switzerland, creating bespoke content and events for in-house brands such La Mer or Tom Ford Beauty.
