As seen on BBC’s Dragons’ Den, Reedah El-Saie is the founder of the multi-award-winning EdTech gaming startup Brainspark Games, an innovative studio developing free, culturally inclusive, AI-powered augmented reality educational mobile games aligned with the national curriculum. Pioneering neurogames technology for primary and secondary education, including I/GCSEs, Brainspark Games was born from Reedah’s determination to challenge outdated education systems and create engaging learning experiences designed for diverse learners. In October 2025, Reedah pitched Brainspark Games on BBC’s Dragons’ Den to an audience of more than seven million viewers, securing investment offers from three Dragons: Deborah Meaden, Sara Davies, and Touker Suleyman.
Since launching the company in 2021 through bootstrapping and seed funding, Brainspark Games has secured eight Innovate UK grants and major industry recognition, including the Innovate UK Women in Innovation Award, Inclusive Innovation Award, Investor Partnership Grant, two Smart Grants for Creator Spark, and MindsetXR funding for neurowellbeing technology. The company was recently selected for the prestigious NVIDIA Inception programme and previously participated in the Game Changer accelerator supported by Games London, the UK Government, the Mayor of London, Google Startup Campus, and UCL EDUCATE. Brainspark Games has also won the AWE XR Startup to Watch competition for top European tech startup, Film London Lodestar 2025, and the London Startup Awards, while being recognised among the Top 100 Asians in Tech and one of London’s most diverse tech startups.
