Karin Rodriguez

Chair of Creative Women in Argentina

Karin studied Journalism at Universidad del Salvador and the Development and Management of SMEs at Universidad de Buenos Aires. At the age of 15, she started working in the company founded by her father, Signo Plast S.A. where she’s been a Partner and Director of Administration and Finance for 25 years. She is also a Peace Ambassador at Mother Teresa International Foundation.

Karin graduated from the MED Program, Women In Decision of Fundación FLOR.

She completed the Virtual Training for Businesswomen and Entrepreneurs in Latin America and the Caribbean of the Win-Win Program: Gender Equality is Good Business, funded by the European Union (EU) and implemented by UN Women in partnership with the International Labor Organization (ILO) to promote gender equality through the private sector.

Karin attended the Lobbying and Interest Management Training and the Negotiation with a Gender Perspective Seminar given by the International Labor Organization within the framework of the Win-Win Program.

She worked as a journalist producer at Canal 13 and Production Coordinator at América 2.

She collaborated in the construction of the Production Plan of the Province of Buenos Aires, prepared by UIPBA and ADIBA.

Karin coordinated the Workshop for the collaborative construction of the public-private agenda, derived from the UN Women and ILO GANAR-GANAR Program in Argentina: Access to Financial Services, in joint work with the Women’s Department of UIPBA.

In 2019, her company adhered to the WEPs – Women’s Empowerment Principles created by the Win-Win program to promote the advancement of the 2030 agenda and the SDGs.

Karin was part of the Delegation of businesswomen that represented Argentina at the Women Economic Forum Global 2020 in Egypt.
