Ella advises Latin American companies expanding into the United Kingdom, and vice versa. She draws from her experience living in the region and from her work with Latin America’s public and private sectors over the past twelve years. She specialises in working with creative, conservation and travel sectors.
As a writer, Latin America is also her focus. Ella writes about the arts, including the performing arts, design and arts education, as well as culture, social issues, the environment and travel in this region. She is a regular contributor to The London Magazine (literary periodical). In addition, she has written for Monocle Magazine, The Daily Telegraph, The Ecologist, the Evening Standard, Vogue, Suitcase, Conde Nast Traveller and Cabana.
Ella is involved with several philanthropic ventures. She is an Advisor to AMA Foundation for marine conservation in Baja California, Mexico, a Director of Toucan Ventures, which supports creative entrepreneurs, and a Board Director of the Playing for Change Foundation, a global non-profit promoting music and arts education.
She holds a BA in Comparative Literature from Brown University and an MPhil in Social Anthropology from the University of Oxford.
