Ayşegül Ekinci is one of the most well known personalities from the international press. She is one of the rare journalists who have interviewed more than two thousand internationally renowned figures, each one a brand of his/her own in politics, science, sports, business and show business, including Hollywood stars.

Ayşegül Ekinci first made a name for herself with exclusive news reporting from the Guantanamo Military Base in Cuba in 2002 and is the only female journalist to have ever been accepted by the US military to report from the base. Ayşegül was the only female foreign news correspondent that Benazir Bhutto decided to invite to join her convoy on her return to Pakistan after 8 years of exile, 2007.
