Zaahirah Muthy is an internationally recognised Mauritian-born creative leader based in Dubai, whose work sits at the intersection of art, impact, and global cultural development. With over two decades of experience, she uses creativity as a strategic tool to advance the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and drive meaningful social change. As the Founder of Art Connects Women, she has built a globally respected platform that champions female artists, fosters cross-cultural dialogue, and creates sustainable opportunities within the creative economy, now in its ninth edition.

Her contributions have earned her numerous prestigious international awards, including the Leonardo da Vinci Universal Artist Award, the Femina Women International Leadership Award, and recognition as a Global Cultural Developer by the Académie des Sciences et Lettres in Paris. As an artist, Zaahirah works across mixed media exploring themes of spirituality, identity, childhood, and nature with her work exhibited in over 25 countries and held in collections worldwide. Alongside her artistic practice, she has curated more than 87 international exhibitions, demonstrating exceptional leadership in the global cultural sector.
