Özlem Thompson is a London-based contemporary artist from Istanbul whose work bridges science and imagination. Born in 1983, she developed an early passion for painting, influenced by Mediterranean culture. She studied biology and holds a master’s degree in botany, which continues to shape her artistic practice. Since moving to London in 2015, she has developed a distinctive style combining organic forms, vibrant colours, and abstract expression. Working from her studio in Belsize Park, once used by Piet Mondrian, she has exhibited internationally across the UK, Europe, and the United States. Her work is widely collected and featured in major art publications worldwide.
