Ilijana Vavan is an internationally accomplished IT technology and cybersecurity leader and C level executive. With over 30 years of experience in the IT sector that includes holding different leadership and executive roles at Microsoft, Oracle, Kaspersky, Milestone Systems and Checkpoint Technologies, Ilijana has made it her mission to transfer her knowledge and experience to the others.

Having graduated with a Master degree of Computer Science from the University of Twente, the Netherlands, Ilijana is very fascinated by technology and its impact on the society. Conscious about its advantages and disadvantages if compromised by hackers, Ilijana is spreading the awareness of cyber security and the safe usage of technology.

She is known as an inspirational leader and executive, and a passionate public speaker. Her speaking experience includes keynotes at many internal and external conferences, having participated as the keynote cyber security speaker at WCR conference in Berlin, Germany, GITEX, Dubai, Energy Summit in Neum, BIH, and many others.

Ilijana is a bearer of several international awards, among others the best speaker at Kaspersky Partner Conference, Victress Cyber Award 2019 for the best female cyber manager Germany, Person of the year 2018, Hyat TV, Stuttgart, Germany, and European IT Channel has included her in the list of 30 most influential women in the IT sector in Europe.

Ilijana is fluent in four languages and currently resides in Munich, Germany, with her family.
