Nouf Abdulghani, Eng. M.Sc. is an expert Environmental and Renewable Energy Engineer with extensive experience in managing and advancing large-scale environmental and renewable energy projects. She currently serves as the Head of Environmental Sustainability at the Saudi Principal Buyer (SPB), where she leads environmental sustainability initiatives focused on shaping new energy and climate market instruments within the electricity market, while also serving as Senior Manager of SPB’s Environmental Attributes Portfolio.

Before joining the Principal Buyer, Nouf worked as an Expert Renewable Energy Engineer at the Ministry of Energy in Riyadh, where she played a key role in driving strategic initiatives under Saudi Arabia’s Renewable Energy Program, including solar, wind, geothermal, energy storage, and green hydrogen projects. Her experience spans the entire project lifecycle—from engineering design and resource assessments to procurement, tendering, and construction.

Earlier in her career, she contributed to solar energy projects at Sunrun Inc. in California, where she developed innovative tools to streamline solar energy installations and trained a large team of engineers.
