Her Highness Princess Mashael AlShalan is the Co-Founder of AEON Collective, a cross-disciplinary Waqf (non-profit endowment) dedicated to sustainable and inclusive development. Through AEON Collective, she also co-founded and manages AEON Strategy, AEON Placemaking, and AEON Labs, all focused on holistic and sustainable solutions.

With over 15 years of experience in sustainable development, climate policy, and environmental conservation, Princess Mashael has championed initiatives such as the Tree Library Program and the Culture & One Health Program, bringing together private and public stakeholders across the Kingdom and internationally. She has actively contributed to global platforms including UNFCCC climate negotiations, biodiversity, and ocean conservation forums, amplifying her voice as a strong advocate for collective global action.

Her Highness has co-authored and led multiple publications bridging science, policy, and implementation. Notably, she has contributed to the Kingdom’s Circular Carbon Economy initiative and the Circular Carbon Economy National Program. Alongside her work in international climate and economic policy, she founded Friends of Ma’ab, a volunteer initiative supporting mental health in local communities.
