Emon Shakoor is a Saudi neuroscience researcher turned venture capitalist and entrepreneur, renowned for her groundbreaking contributions at the intersection of innovation, inclusion, and investment. She is the Founder and CEO of Blossom Accelerator, a global accelerator and ecosystem builder that partners with startups, corporations, and governments to champion inclusive innovation and strategic investment.

Emon also serves as a Venture Partner at Oryx Fund, is an influential angel investor and advisor, and sits on the opportunity committee at Oqal, the largest angel investment group in the GCC. Her impactful work has been recognised by the World Economic Forum, Stanford University, Forbes, and Bloomberg, among others.

Before her venture capital journey, she earned a Bachelor’s in Cognitive Science from UC San Diego, conducted pioneering research on mirror neurons in social cognition, and led clinical drug trials for Pfizer at PAREXEL.
