CEO and Founder, Encore! (Dubai)

Amira Fouad, an acclaimed concert pianist, is the CEO and Founder of Dubai-based performing arts company Encore! and is recognized as one of the leading artistic directors and performing arts executives in the Middle East. A dynamic cultural leader with over 30 years of international experience, she has built a distinguished career across some of the world’s most prestigious musical platforms.

Through Encore, Amira has curated and directed acclaimed concert series such as Music in the Studio, Global Notes, and Encore Presents in partnership with Dubai Opera, presenting more than 500 performances and collaborations since 2017.

As Co-Founder and Artistic Director of the National Youth Orchestras and Choirs of Dubai, the UAE’s largest and most accomplished youth ensembles, Amira has championed musical education and cultural exchange. In June 2025, under her leadership, the orchestra made its Carnegie Hall debut in New York at the Isaac Stern Auditorium/Ronald O. Perelman Stage — a landmark success for both the UAE Ministry of Culture and Dubai Culture on the world stage.

Educated in Canada, Paris, and London, Amira is also an acclaimed soloist, having performed at international venues such as Wigmore Hall, Roy Thomson Hall, and Dubai Opera. Her recording, Portraits: A Pianist’s Journey, received critical acclaim from The Piano Journal.
