After earning an MBA with distinction in Investment Banking and Corporate Strategy, she transitioned into luxury bespoke travel, founding a boutique agency specialising in transformative experiences in Sri Lanka.

A top 3 finalist in the 2023 International Women in Travel & Tourism Awards, Althea now serves as Chair of Creative Women Sri Lanka, where she leads a pioneering women’s tourism trail highlighting female-founded businesses a model designed to inspire global, women-led enterprise.
