Currently serving as Senior Vice President at Bank of New York, Eugenia has led data science and machine learning initiatives across global financial institutions, fintech and academia, with a strong focus on translating advanced analytics and AI research into production-grade solutions. Throughout her career, she has successfully built and scaled multiple teams from the ground up, establishing functions, operating models and capabilities that continued to thrive beyond her tenure.

Her expertise spans machine learning, quantitative modelling, financial risk and applied AI in financial markets, including extensive experience delivering AI solutions from concept through to production. Eugenia holds a PhD in Computer Science from Ulster University and is a certified Financial Risk Manager (FRM). Her internationally recognised research in applied machine learning and financial forecasting has been widely cited, and in 2017 she was recognised as an Exceptional Talent Leader in Data Science by the UK Home Office.
