Salwa Abuljadayel

Artist and Equestrian

Salwa Abuljadayel is an artist and equestrian born in Saudi Arabia. She graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Theatre from Emerson College in Boston, Massachusetts. After graduation, she pursued operational roles in Events Production with Live Nation Entertainment.

In 2023, she earned a Master’s of Art in History of Art and Archaeology from SOAS, University of London. During her master’s studies in the UK, she began her journey as a professional Fencer in Épée, competing nationally for three seasons.

Abuljadayel currently works in Event Operations with the Jockey Club of Saudi Arabia, where she has been involved since the inception of The Saudi Cup in 2020—the most valuable horse race in the world.

A second-generation horse owner, she continues the racing legacy of her late father, Saeed Abuljadayel. Additionally, she serves as a Creative Advisor at Suraya Productions, where her collaboration began with the short animated film Prostate and Draw Near, produced and directed by Suraya Al Shehry and Nabila Abuljadayel. The film was screened on Animation Day during the 77th Cannes Film Festival, at the Venice Production Bridge during the 81st Venice Film Festival, and was selected on the Oscar Qualifying Long List of 2025.
