The Assembly agenda will include presentations, workshops and networking events. These will culminate in an exclusive event to be held at the Presidential Palace in Tbilisi and hosted by the first female president Mrs Salome ZourabichviIi.

The Event’s Co-organiser

This event is organised in collaboration with the British Georgian Chamber of Commerce (BGCC), a leading business organisation, which was founded by Lord Godfrey Cromwell and Ms. Mako Abashidze in March 2007. It is a non-political trade body to facilitate business growth and contacts at all levels between UK and Georgia.

BGCC works closely with governments, businesses and individuals from both countries to gather relevant information efficiently and accurately by establishing and maintaining necessary contacts. With offices and affiliates in London and Tbilisi, BGCC brings together decision makers from both private and public sectors to share information and create opportunities.

Olga Balakleets – CEO of international events company Ensemble Productions, and a Founder of several annual cultural and philanthropic initiatives worldwide.

Olga acts as an advisor to a number of governmental organisations. She has received various awards for her professional services.

Throughout her many years of organising ambitious events, she has been passionate about creating inspiring and meaningful experiences and promoting successful female entrepreneurs.

Dr Viola Edward –  a Relationship Specialist for Professional Women, Transcultural Psychotherapist and Breathwork pioneer with over 25 years of experience. A leader with individual and corporate clients, Viola also specialises in Professional Training in Breathwork Mentoring, Couple Relationship, Kayana Breathwork for Recovery & Stress Management.

She is also an author of two books: “Breathing the Rhythm of Success” and “Who Makes the Bed?” and co-author of “Transformation Lessons -ATL Europe”. 

Mako Abashidze is an entrepreneur, Founder-Director of the British Georgian Chamber of Commerce and an employment and education coach.

Her dedication to Georgia led her to co-found the British-Georgian Chamber of Commerce with Lord Cromwell in 2007. This structure became the lead organisation working with both governments to establish a successful business exchange. The British-Georgian Chamber of Commerce has organised a large number of business conferences, cultural events and philanthropic events.

  • UPLISTSIKHE is identified by archaeologists as one of the oldest urban settlements in Georgia. The earliest traces of human presence in Uplistsikhe date back to the end of the 2nd millennium BC.

  • Built in 1938, RESTAURANT FUNICULAR is an architectural landmark and the most popular attraction of Tbilisi.

  • CHATEAU MUKHRANI is one of the must-visit venues to get a fascinating insight into the traditions and secrets of Georgian wine-making, blended with remarkable stories about the Georgian royal family.
